Walgrove Weekly Message

Dear Walgrove Familes and Staff,

Congratulations to the attendance-award winners! 

On Friday, we honored via raffle a few with 96% or above attendance. Next, we will honor those with most improved! So, stay tuned and attentive! 

Consistent attendance builds both brains and community!

Thanks to ALL the parents that make so many things possible. Here are but a mighty few. 

Thanks, also, to those who came out to toil on a Saturday. 

While others worked, I rollerskated and took pics. Shocked they aren't more blurry because I was skating like the wind!

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS:

Thanks to the clock for moving forward this weekend, because when we all March forth, forward things happen -- and the clock should be among us. (I couldn't find clipart of a clock springing foward, which sounds surprising, I know. So, I drew my own. You're welcome!)

GATE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Tomorrow, we will open an additional gate on Maplewood Ave near the corner of Maplewood and Appleton. In advance of assigning families, we will first invite familes to take advantage of the additional gate in order to increase safety for us all. 

If you usually use Appleton and find yourself making u-turns or 3-point turns OR maneuvering in the staff parking lot, please consider parking on Maplewood, where there is ample room, and walking. 

On any of our streets, please be a considerate neighbor. 

Please avoide u-turns, 3-point turns and jay-walking.
