New COVID Guidance as of January 24, 2022

Positive cases isolate for 5+ days and obtain a negative antigen to return to work or school.

Unvaccinated household members of those positive cases quarantine for 10 days (unless they have recently recovered from COVID themselves, in which case they need not quarantine at all).

All others need not quarantine - just take extra precautions.

All students, staff and parent volunteers must wear non-cloth, medical-grade masks.

> Adults should wear N95 or KN95 masks, where available.

> Students should wear well-fitting, non-cloth masks of multiple layers of non-woven material with a nose wire.

New Info Re: Return to School

Please check your email for important info from LAUSD regarding our imminent return from school.

The salient gist:

Everyone (staff, students and parent volunteers) will need a negative COVID test to return to in-person school. Students can get either a PCR from the previous week or an Antigen test from the weekend immediately before school starts. Staff and volunteers must have a PCR test no later than January 3.

Testing sites have been expanded and now include (among others) Marina Del Rey Middle School.

Monday, January 10, will be an all-day virtual PD for staff. There will be no school.

School will start Tuesday, January 11.
