Dear Walgrove Families and Staff,
Happy Oscar Sunday!
Thank you all volunteers who came out yesterday (and the Saturday before). We very much appreciate all who come out to support and to play!
After just one week of starting anew, our Lost and Found has swelled. This pic is from yesterday.
Possible solutions:
1) Purchase Mabel's labels so your kiddos' names are on their wears, increasing the likelihood they get returned ASAP (reach out to Danielle Barto or Sharon Beam from FOW for more info);
2) Snap a pic of your kiddo in the morning and hope they look like the pic in the afternoon;
3) We institute a no-glittering rule wherein no one is allowed to drop their clothes in the yard;
4) Because many of the clothes come from the after-school program, the after-school program institutes this proposed rule and also keeps the rack near the pick-up gate;
5) Leaving the jackets at home because the metabolism of children is akin to that of the Earth's inner core...
6) Other ideas; I'm open to them all!
