Walgrove Principal's Corner: Walgrove Weekly Message

Dear Walgrove Families and Staff,

We have so much to be grateful for! Today is Cinco de Mayo. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and this month is Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The Wave Awards are coming up this Thursday -- Ms. Lima is this year's honoree!!! and yesterday about a dozen or so of our very own kiddos performed in the Angel City Youth Chorale along with the Angel City Chorale as part of a special Spring collection of performances. (More photos and hopefully video(s) to come.)

Several Walgrove students sang solos, including Maddy, Luna, Eden and Mari, and at the end, approximately 100 kids and adults sang Toto's "Africa" together.

Even more good news: The Angel City Youth Chorale will sing for us this Friday at the assembly.
