Walgrove Weekly Message

Dear Walgrove Families and Staff, 

I hope your weekend was abundant and abounding and that if, by chance, you are/were among those stuck in Black Rock Desert at Burning Man, you make/made it home safely!

Here is much of what is coming up this week at Walgrove:

TUE

Early Dismissal 1:32

Grades 2, 3, 4, 5 PBIS/Student Behavior Assembly in the Auditorium 12:50pm

Staff Meeting/Professional Development Rm 24. Topic Social Emotional Learning Data, Grade Level Meetings. 1:45-3:15pm

Angel City Youth Chorale with Debralee and Jahna in the Auditorium 1:45-3:00pm. 

WED

Dr. K Off Site: Instructional Rounds at Braddock Elementary

THU

Director Agnes Kamau and Dr. K. visit Walgrove classrooms 9:15-10:05. For the month of September, at all of the Venice schools, Ms. Kamau will look to see Math instruction/learning in grades 5+

FRI

Assembly 8:05-8:20. Mazariegos' and Chin's classes to lead the Pledge. Penny Padilla to perform

Attendance prize for the class with the best attendance to date (through Thursday, September 7)

Coffee and Diet Coke with the Principal 8:30 in the Wildlands

Special Education Meet and Greet w/our APEIS and Service Providers 10:30 in the Parent Center
