Walgrove Weekly Message

Dear Walgrove Families and Staff, 

Happy Mother's Day! 

Thank you to all the mothers out there who love unconditionally and do all sorts of things they could have never imagined on a dime including volunteering for "Mary Poppins!"

Speaking of "Mary Poppins" (which is PHENOMENAL!) here is some of what is coming up this week at Walgrove:

MON

School Show of "Mary Poppins" -- Hollywood Cast 1pm (students and staff only)

Violin with Ms. Danielle Villalobos 2:30 in the Library

High-School tutors in the Library per LaV's schedule

Broadway Cast, Core, and Ensemble Rehearsal in the Auditorium after school

TUE

Upper yard apparatus floor repair

Ms. Zeena and Mr. G take a field trip to the LAUSD Board meeting

Ms. B works with Ms. Danielle and Ms. Luis on CGI math

Staff Meeting in Rm 24 followed by Grade Level Meetings 2-3pm

High-School tutors in the Library per LaV's schedule

West End Cast, Core, and Ensemble Rehearsal in the Auditorium after school

WED

Ms. Lima, Mr. Merrick, Mr. Gonzalez and Ms. Luis field trip 

SSPT 2:45pm

High-School tutors in the Library per LaV's schedule

Hollywood Cast, Core, and Ensemble Rehearsal in the Auditorium after school

THU

Opening Night and Red Carpet for "Mary Poppins" Hollywood Cast 6pm

FRI

Assembly 8:05 in the Quad -- 

    > Ms. Biolatto's class will lead the Pledge

    > Ollie, Desi and Orlando will perform a rap

    > America and Kaytlin will sing "Talking to the Moon"

End-of-the-Year Coffee and Diet Coke with the Principal -- Combined with FOW General Meeting 8:25
Either in the Wildlands or the Parent Center

Audiologist will administer make-up hearing exams

Opening Night and Red Carpet for "Mary Poppins" West End Cast 6pm 

SAT 

Opening Night and Red Carpet for "Mary Poppins" Broadway Cast 5pm
